It's amazing, you know? How life just stops when it wants to. Well, it stops from moving in the direction we want it to go, sometimes. It is almost an unwritten rule. "Life cannot go swimmingly for too long." I think archeologists found that exact phrase written in the Dead Sea Scrolls, a few years back. It is surprising to me.. we make plans, we look to the future, we are happy.. then BAM! Out of now where, we get run over by the semi of life. Behind the wheel of the truck are demons trying to get us off our path. And man, when we realize what happened.. boy is the headache bad!! It is interesting... I think Demons try to see how hard they can hit us.. and then they roll down their window..and as we are laying there covered in wounds.. they pour a barrel of salt on us. I can see them laughing and carrying on.. They have no heart or soul, so the damage they do is a game to them. In the meantime, we get to try to figure out how to recover from being a semi-truck punching bag.
You know what? I am damn tired of getting ran over. I am tired of being vulnerable to these Demons.. It's like they think they can do this to me just any 'ole time they want. Well.. guess what I am going to do? I am going to give it right back to them!! But the truck that I will be driving will be a chariot that glides on the Word of God. My steads will have the fierceness of God in their eyes. Instead of salt in my hand, I am going to have a sword which God has provided me. The weight of the chariot will be great.. for the armor I will be wearing will be the Truth of God. And guess what?? When I get face to face with the Demon who thinks they can mess with a child of God.. I am going to DEMAND them to go to Jesus Christ for their punishment.
So Demon, you have pushed me around plenty in my life. NO MORE! I come now with fierceness. I come now with the Fire of God in my soul. Revenge is God's. But I will make sure the Demons of the unforeseen will stand in line for their punishment.
